Mountain Adventures – Closed For Ski Season

November 12, 2009

Great Summer @ Roundtop Mountain Adventures

Roundtop Mountain Adventures is closed for the season.  Our first Summer was terrific!  We had a lot of fun and finally by the end of the season we had all our features open including the Tree House Zip Lines. RMA’s last weekend was November 7th and 8th and we closed with a bang.  The Ski Roundtop ski swap and Fall Extravaganza brought hundreds of visitors to the new adventure park who all loved the adventures and wished that they had come up sooner.

Snow Making Starts

The staff at Roundtop Mountain Adventures took apart the Summer tubing runs, washed and put the Ogo Balls away and set the area back to it’s Winter conditions so that snow making can start as soon as it gets cold enough.   We hope to see you all at Rountop to ski or snow board and look forward to an even better Summer now that we can hit the ground running in the Spring.

Plan Your Summer Outing

If you haven’t experienced the challenges and adventures at RMA mark your calendar now to visit the Adventure Park next Summer.  The Vertical Trek is expected to reopen in April depending on weather and the rest of the Adventures will kick off the Summer 2010 season on Memorial Day weekend.

We hope to see you next year. Deb Bixler

Vertical Trek Challenge Course

November 5, 2009

Zip Lines In Pennsylvania

The Vertical Trek Challenge course is more than just zip lines.  The Trek includes an Indiana Jones bridge, a Tarzan swing, vine ropes and other challenge features in addition to the Zip lines. As a new outdoor activity in Central PA, the Trek was a huge success during it’s first year with 6 full Trek groups going out daily. The Vertical Trek challenge course will close for the Winter on November 8th and reopen in April 2010 weather permitting.

Tree House Zips Open To A Crowd

Roundtop Mountain Adventure’s Tree House Ziplines this past Saturday and had a huge turn out for weekend. Everyone who zipped loved it. The ziplines are finally opened after a Summer of waiting. Kids of all ages 8 and up (over 70 pounds) young and old enjoyed the new feature at Roundtop over Columbus Day weekend. TreeHouse

Zip-Away!

Flying like Peter Pan, this excited young lady took about 5 zips! Parents had trouble dragging the kids away to other adventures. After a quick zip from the tree house, zippers can climb back up through the worm hole net for a second zip.

Zip Lines Enjoyed By All Ages

Everyone loved the Tree House! Kids, adults, seniors and even staff members enjoyed the Tree House ziplines that finally opened this past weekend. It was a beautiful Fall day and the Tree House was a thrilling addition to the already fun Roundtop Mountain Adventures. Now all the RMA adventures are open.Ziplines

Fun In H2Ogo Ball

September 27, 2009

H2OGO Ball Big Hit At Roundtop

The kids of all ages are enjoying the H2Ogo ball at Roundtop Mountain Adventures. Everyone coming out of the ball says that it is the best amusment ride that they have ever been on. The I-Go ball is fun to but it is not for everyone. In the H2Ogo, you always stay upright but in the I-Go you are rolling down the hill head over heals.
H2Ogo Ball
The H2Ogo ball is enjoyed by everyone!  Bring your bathing suit and come on up to Roundtop this Fall.  It is worth getting wet for!  If you do not want to get wet then try the Igo ball.  The Igo and H2Ogo will be in operation on weekends through and including November 8, 2009.
