H2OGO Ball Big Hit At Roundtop

The kids of all ages are enjoying the H2Ogo ball at Roundtop Mountain Adventures. Everyone coming out of the ball says that it is the best amusment ride that they have ever been on. The I-Go ball is fun to but it is not for everyone. In the H2Ogo, you always stay upright but in the I-Go you are rolling down the hill head over heals.

The Vertical Trek – Rountop Mountain

September 13, 2009

The Vertical Trek Zip Lines and Canopy Tour

Although not only in the canopy, the Vertical Trek is a beautiful tour of Roundtop Mountain treeline canopy.  After several days of rain we finally got back out on the Trek with 6 s0ld out Treks this Saturday.  Trekkers, Robin and Jeff get ready to head out.

After an 11 minute sky ride and a quick photo opportunity from the top the group heads out to the first zip and a quick lesson in learning how to break. The first zip is a thrill and sometimes a bit scarry!  What a great view though! Some people do decide that it is a bit too high for them though.  The guides are experts at keeping everyone safe so that there are no worries along the way. After the first zip and a understanding of how to slow yourself down the thrills continue!

The red point lowering device is pictured below.  It is the only way down from the tower pictured above.

From there it is all down hill through a variety of features.  You will go through the taco net.

Next is the 400 foot zip line which launches off of a rock cliff.

Would You Like To Trek?

Trekking is not for everyone.  Those who are just a bit adventurous will love it!  Some physical stamina is required.

Can you walk a 20 minute mile?

Can you do it without getting winded?

Can you hold your own body weight on a bar for 12 seconds?

If you can answer yes to all of those questions and you do not have a fear of heights then you should be good to go!  Let’s start TREKKING!
