Looks great to me!

As you can see, things are starting to come together.  The wet Spring has put a “damper” on the operation you might say and we are still plugging along.  The expected date to open is this weekend.  We will be open on  Saturaday, May 30th and Sunday, May 31st.  Please pardon our dust and come on up to give it a try.

Vertical Trek Canopy Tour

The Ski Roundtop Mountain Adventures canopy tour is almost complete. The canopy tour at Roundtop is called the Vertical Trek and runs from the top of the mountain on the left of Gun Barrel (looking at the hill) down through the wooods. Trekkers will have a guided tour down the mountian through zip lines, Tarzan swings, rappels and other features.trek2
The groups of 8-12 adventurers will be guided by Trek guides through the various features.  Smaller groups will be combined with other small groups.  Solid shoes with no open toes or heals is recommended for secure footing.

Finishing with a quick zip to the end the trekkers will spend about 2 1/2 hours coming down the mountain. It looks like we will have the trek completed by the end of next week.  The first group reservation is May 30th.  Call to make your reservation for any size group. 717-432-2949 extension: 3723

Summer Tubing Being Built @ Roundtop

May 6, 2009

Neveplast Is At Roundtop Installing Tubing

The new Roundtop Mountain Adventure staff is working with the Neveplast crew to assemble the Summer Tubing runs.tuberuns050509 The Winter tubing runs are being prepped for Summer tubing. In the Winter we will make snow over the Summer features so Winter tubing will be business as usual.
tubingruns050509b Here we are staging and assembling the dividers that go in between each tubing run for Summer tubing. During the Summer tube riders will be required to wear real shoes as opposed to flip-flops or sandels. The Magic Carpet ride back to the top as well as many of the other Mountain Adventure features will require real shoes or sneakers because we do not want any pinched toes!!
